We started Canvasry with one belief: the art on your walls should be real. Painted, not printed, by people who love the work.
Why we exist
Original art shouldn’t be out of reach
Most wall art sold online is a print of a painting. It looks fine from across the room and flat from up close. Original paintings have depth, texture and a presence a print can’t copy, but gallery prices put them out of reach for most homes.
So we built a studio that paints to order. No inventory, no gallery markup: a painter starts your piece when you choose it, and you pay a fair price for an original that is yours alone. Most of our paintings cost between $150 and $300.

Every piece is painted by a person with a brush or palette knife. We never print, trace or ‘hand-embellish’ a print.

Our painters have spent years at the easel. Some specialize in big, textured oil landscapes; others in the patience of watercolor botanicals. Each painting is matched to the painter whose style suits it best, and a second painter checks every piece before it ships.
