Shipping and delivery

Every painting is made to order, so it is painted first and shipped second. Shipping is free, insured and tracked on every order.

How long it takes

Your painting is started when you place your order. Here is what to expect. Each product page also shows an estimated delivery window for that painting.

Photo approval before shipping

When your painting is finished we email you a photo of it. Reply to approve it and we’ll pack it the same or next business day. If something isn’t quite right, tell us and the painter will adjust it (one round of adjustments is included).

Packing

Oils are wrapped in acid-free glassine, protected with foam corner guards and boxed in double-wall board. Rolled canvases ship in a rigid tube. Watercolors ship flat between rigid boards, matted or framed.

Shipping costs and tracking

Shipping is free to the countries we deliver to and every parcel is insured for its full value. You’ll get a tracking link by email as soon as your painting leaves the studio.

Customs and duties

Some countries charge import duties or taxes on artwork. Where we can, we include these at checkout so there is nothing to pay on delivery. If not, your carrier may ask for them before delivering.

Damaged in transit

It is rare, but if your painting arrives damaged, take a photo of the box and the painting within 7 days of delivery and send it to us. We’ll repaint or refund it, at no cost to you.

Shipping questions

Can I get my painting faster?

Watercolors are the quickest. For oils, ask us before ordering and we’ll tell you whether the studio can prioritize it.

Can I ship to a different address?

Yes, enter any delivery address at checkout. Gifts ship without prices in the box.

Do you ship rolled or stretched?

Gallery-wrapped paintings ship stretched and ready to hang. Choose Rolled canvas if you plan to frame it locally, or to save on very large sizes.
