Within 3 business days we send a composition sketch and a fixed price.
- Commission step 3: painter matching colors to a reference photo
We paint it
Your painter works from your photo over about two weeks.
- Commission step 4: finished commission unwrapped at home
Approve and receive
We send a photo of the finished piece. One round of changes is included before it ships.

What makes a good photo
- Sharp and well lit, ideally taken in daylight.
- As large a file as you have (straight from your phone is fine).
- For pets and people: eye level, with the face clearly visible.

Commission questions
Can I return a commission?
Because it’s painted just for you, a commission can’t be returned. That is why you approve the sketch and the finished painting before it ships.
Can you combine several photos?
Yes, for example adding a pet to a family photo. Mention it in your request and we’ll confirm the price with your sketch.
Can I order a commission as a gift?
Yes. We can send the approval photos to you and ship the painting to the recipient, with a gift note.
