Copyright and intellectual property

The text, photographs, graphics, logos and design of this website belong to Bespoke or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links and view the site for personal use, but please don’t copy, reproduce or sell our content without written permission.

Every painting is painted by hand. We offer original compositions and hand-painted interpretations of works that are in the public domain. We do not knowingly sell paintings that copy protected work without permission, and we remove any listing we learn is infringing.

When you buy a painting you own that physical artwork. The copyright in the design stays with its creator. You’re welcome to photograph your painting and share it, but please don’t reproduce it as prints or products for sale.

When you send us a photo or reference for a commission, you confirm that you took it or have permission to use it. You keep the rights to your photo, and we use it only to paint your order.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email ycpliang@gmail.com with the subject line “Copyright notice” and include:

• your name and how to reach you;
• a description of the work you believe is being infringed;
• the link to the page or product on our site;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We review every notice promptly and remove material that infringes.

If we removed something you posted or supplied and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send us a counter-notice at the same address with the details of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed in error, and your contact details and signature.

Bespoke and our logo are our trademarks. Other names and marks mentioned on this site belong to their owners.
